Oil / Filter Change 8-15-2020

 Oil and Filter change at 185,000 miles

Oil Brand = 5W10 Mobil 1
Oil Filter = Mobil 1

A/C Accumulator to Condenser line replacement

 Replaced the A/C line that goes from the Accumulator to the A/C Radiator Condensor. All in all took about an hour to replace. 

Recharged the line, and the A/C is freezing cold once again.

Brake Rotor/Pads Replacement

Rotors/Pads needing replacing pretty badly. So much that it ended up taking out my rear right side caliper from the damage.

Went ahead and replaced all the rotors, pads, and one brand new caliper.

Starter Replacement

The starter slowly over time started giving issues, so alas has come the time to replace it.

Start replaced on 9/15/19 @ noon

Notes:The job itself was not as difficult as most have claimed. The only difficult part was wiggling the starter off a bit. Job probably took me 2 hours due to looking for tools.


 All finished, and the exact spot where the work was done. All in all, not a very difficult job.

OEM Exhaust / Tire Rotation

Went ahead and rotated the tires, and removed the obnoxiously loud exhaust the previous owner had on the truck.

While it sounded nice, it was way too loud and drone-y when towing.

Interior Upgrade!

I took the time to upgrade the interior to the setup I wanted. I'm a big fan of the center console versus the middle 3rd seat/fold down arm-rest.

Went to the junkyard and picked up a very nice leather set from a Yukon and the center console.

Transmission cooler upgrade

Went ahead and upgraded the transmission cooler, as the OEM one was a bit too tiny for towing.
